Hello Rogue v1.02


This update contains several bugfixes and addresses gameplay issues from the last update.

  • Starting HP is now 18 to keep things more balanced and less of a cakewalk (especially after obtaining several max HP increases from altars). The previous tweak seems way too overpowered.
  • Fixed a silly bug where player can detect off-screen/out-of-sight monsters. A huge oversight on my part!
  • Small modifications to the code that remove traps via magic scrolls, tested against several scenarios. Hopefully this will prevent any possible input bugs.

Thrown weapons (eg. throwing knives & darts) should now be more useful:

  • Throwing knives now deals more damage.
  • Stunned enemies now receive more damage from attacks (provided that the player doesn't miss).
